What is a Treasure Island?

Imagine a mall where everything is free and you can take as much as you want. That is what a treasure island is in Animal Crossing New Horizons!

A Treasure island is a completely flat island that is FILLED with dropped items that you can take. In front of each dropped item, is a placed item so you can see the item. Visitors to the Treasure Island can TAKE any dropped items! Your only limitation is the amount of free space you have in your pockets.

ceo's Treasure Islands carry a specific subset of items: Items you CANNOT buy with bells. Any items you cannot buy with bells can be more difficult to find, and the purpose of the Treasure Island is to make it easier for you to get those items! These items include:

DIYs

Cooking Recipes

Seasonal DIY Items (Cherry Blossom set, Mush set, etc)

Event Exclusive Items (Bunny Day, Halloween, etc)

Items you can only buy with Nook Miles at the Nook Stop in resident services.

Crafting Materials

Bells, Nook Mile Tickets, and Royal Crowns (these are good to sell to make millions of bells easily)

*As of November 2021, ceo's current Treasure Island features all the new 2.0 items you can buy with bells at Nook's Cranny, but those items will be moving to a Catalog Island summer 2022.
